SmartData Solutions®

SmartData is our proprietary, real-time 3D analytics platform that powers all our customer engagements.

SmartData processes the data generated by advanced in-ground sensor technologies and delivers a series of visualizations from start to finish of the remediation. Our customers use SmartData to:

  • Evaluate their existing remediation approaches.
  • Gain a complete understanding of local site geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, and contaminant chemistry.
  • Access high-resolution visualizations that show the lateral and vertical extent of soil and groundwater contamination.
  • Track soil and groundwater changes as the remediation program progresses.
  • Inform decisions that improve Remedial Design Characterization and remediation project quality.
  • Use real-time data to reduce project risk and uncertainty.
  • Enable remediation approaches that can lower project costs by up to 40 to 60 percent while improving project quality.
SmartData

SmartData produces three types of outputs:

Raw Data

includes both a printout and the raw files of all data collected using direct sensing equipment – enabling our customers to import and analyze their data inside their own 3D and data management applications.

3D Interactive Visualization Model

is used during the HRRDC phase to get a clear understanding of toxins present on the site and to measure progress as the remediation phase is completed.  This capability also serves as a user-friendly communications tool across platforms, countries, and stakeholders.

Interpretive Reports

include both highly visual daily data reviews for the project team and appropriate stakeholders as a project progresses, the final deliverable reports for the HRRDC and remediation phases, and reports for regulators that describe the key elements of the project, including the procedures used, all direct sensing logs and data results, observations and analysis, professional interpretation, and relevant visualized cross sections of the site.
